gross...
ok, i'm gonna warn you now...this is gonna be a gross post. but i have to get it off my chest. so yesterday i'm arriving at the gym, head to the locker room, change to lift, and another guy walks in and changes the same time i do. i go about my business getting absolutely HUGE (okay, so maybe dripping wet i might weigh two feathers past a hair) for about an hour and a half. i get done...shower...and the guy comes walking back into the locker room after his workout (obviously he's been working out for roughly the same amount of time). and what does he do? goes right into getting dressed in his office attire heading back to work. ok, maybe i'm a complete freak or phobic or something...but does this gross anybody else out??? maybe he watches that axe body spray commercial and thinks to himself "hey, this means i don't have to shower ever again." why does this bother me? i don't know. maybe i'm a clean freak. but i've worked with some smelly people and i wonder if that's just the way the cookie crumbles and he was born stinky or if it's something that he does (or doesn't do obviously) that makes him WREAK. for the record, i'm ok with anybody that doesn't feel comfortable showering in public showers (and if you do, don't forget flip-flops ;) haha). but, if that's the case...why don't you just work out at the END OF THE DAY so you can just head home? this obviously isn't the first time this has happened or i wouldn't get so worked up about it. i'm not really searching for comments here, i just had to get this off my chest.
ok, on a positive note...here's the funny quote/thought for the day:
Dr. H in class today: "so the first couple of quarters here, you've been able to solve the problems that have been presented in the courses you've taken. in this class, they'll be much too complicated to get a specific answer. instead, you'll be allowed to think about what might happen in an ideal world and realize there really is no way to solve it exactly"
Thought process in Travis' head: "So i was supposed to be able to solve all that stuff??? wow, maybe this gives me a leg up in this class." :) :)
